Public transport provides comfortable connection with Riga’s most popular beaches
Summer is holiday time, when many go to beaches. Therefore, to inform about the possibility of using public transport to go beaches, “Rīgas satiksme” puts information that clearly shows which public transport should be used to go to beaches.
As reported earlier, with the beginning of the summer season “Rīgas satiksme” made changes in the traffic of buses No. 3, 24, 29, 30 and 36 to provide Riga residents with comfortable connection to the city’s beaches. You can plan your route at www.rigassatiksme.lv.
“Rīgas satiksme”, after evaluating passenger flow and habits, changes public transport schedules twice a year. Summer schedules are introduced from June 1 and winter schedules from September 1, including changes in some schedules and routes.
