Additional Public Transport Services Before and After the Calvin Harris Concert on August 6
On Thursday, August 6, in cooperation with the event organizers, additional services will be provided on tram route 11 and bus route 48 before and after the Calvin Harris concert at the Mežaparks Open-Air Stage. Concertgoers are encouraged to plan their journey to Mežaparks in advance to arrive while passenger volume is still light. As the concert time approaches, passenger numbers will increase and public transport will become busier.
Before the concert, service frequency on tram route 11 from the city center will be increased, with extra trips operating from approximately 17:00. Trams will run more frequently from the “Merķeļa iela” stop, ensuring convenient access to Mežaparks. Additional trips will also be provided on bus route 48—from 17:27 to approximately 21:00, buses will depart from both the “Pļavnieku kapi” terminus and the “Pavasara gatve” stop.
After the concert, starting at approximately 0:20, extra route 11 trams will operate from Mežaparks to Stacijas laukums, and route 48 buses will run to the “Pļavnieku kapi” terminus. Service frequency on these routes will be managed according to passenger demand.
Passengers are reminded that tickets must also be validated on additional services.
