Due to changes in organisation of traffic in Gogoļa Street, there will be changes in the location of the stop “Central Station”
From Thursday, August 4, there will be changes in the organisation of traffic in Gogoļa Street. For the time being, the stop “Central Station” will be located on a specially built platform in the middle of the roadway and will be moved approximately 30 meters from its current location.
A one-level surface pedestrian crossing will be created near the intersection of Gogoļa and Gaiziņa Street to reach the stop. Pedestrians will also be able to cross the road at this point via a single-level pedestrian crossing to get to the stop “Central Market” in the opposite direction, because the pedestrian underground tunnel between the Central Market and the Central Railway Station will be closed.
