From July 30, traffic of tram routes No. 2, 7 and 10 through the Central market will be resumed, tram route No. 1 will continue to run along 13 January Street
From Saturday, July 30, for tram routes No. 2, 7 and 10, movement through the Central Market will be resumed. Whereas, tram route No. 1 will continue to run along 13 January Street, skipping the stop “Prāgas Street” in the direction of Jugla, and the stop “Central Market”, in the direction of Imanta. These changes will be valid while the intensive construction works of Rail Baltica take place, thereby reducing the intensity of tram traffic in the construction works area.
Trams route No. 1 from the final point “Imanta” will run along the route to the stop “Grēcinieku Street”, further along 11 November Embankment, 13 January Street, Radio Street and further along the route. In this direction, the stop “Prāgas Street” (in Prāgas Street) will be closed, on the by-pass route, trams will stop at the stop “13 January Street” (in 13 January Street).
Whereas, from the final point “Jugla”,trams route No.1 will run along the route to the stop “Stacijas laukums”, further along Radio Street, 13 January Street, 11 November Embankment and further along the route. In this direction, the stop “Central Market” (in Centrāltirgus Street) will be closed, on the by-pass route, trams will stop at the stop “13 January Street” (in 13 January Street).
