Passengers check validity of their e-tickets
A majority, or 58% respondents, say that their e-ticket has not expired as yet, 6% have found out that it will expire soon and they will have to go after a new one. 24% said that the question does not concern them, but 13% rushed to check the expiry date of their e-tickets after reading the question.
1561 respondents participated in the opinion poll held in February 2014.
"Rīgas satiksme" reminds that an e-ticket shall be replaced by a new one at least one month before the expiry date. To receive a new e-ticket, you have to go to one of "Rīgas satiksme" customer service centres, having an identity document and the expiring e-ticket with you, and fill in an application form. A new e-ticket will be issued on the spot.
