Riga satiksme receives a Gold rating in the Sustainability Index 2023
Riga satiksme has been awarded a gold category in the Sustainability Index 2023.
The Sustainability Index allows our team to look at ourselves from the outside, to realise and evaluate what we have done, to set goals for the future. In 2022 there were various challenges, but it is very satisfying that together we have actualized and implemented the activities in our sustainability story. This evaluation inspires us to continue on the course we have taken, to ensure a sustainable, safer and greener public transport service in Riga.
The latest results of the Sustainability Index show that awareness of environmental, social and governance aspects in the Latvian corporate environment is growing rapidly, not only in the commercial sector and not only due to various regulations. The results of its participants are also steadily improving - 81 organisations qualified for one of the Sustainability Index awards this year. Their overall performance averaged 82.2%, almost 3% higher than last year.
