There will be changes in location of public transport stops in Kīpsala, as well as changes on some public transport routes on August 10 during triathlon contest

As Riga will host the contests of the Sprint Triathlon European Cup, there will be changes in the location of public transport stops „Ķīpsala” and „Press house”, as well as changes on trolleybus route No. 9 and bus route No. 13 on August 10 from 5:00 and 7:00 till 17:00, but bus route No. 57 will be closed on August 10.

During the above period public transport stop „Ķīpsala” at 7:00 will be transferred to the main road, but public transport stop „Press house” at 5:00 will be transferred to the main road behind the Zunds canal bridge, before the descent to Ķīpsala.

Trolleybuses on route No. 9 will run from the city centre by the route to Uzvaras Boulevard, then in Uzvaras Boulevard, Slokas Street, Kalnciema Street and further by the route. Public transport stop „Ķīpsala” will not be served.

Buses on route No. 13 will run from terminal „Preču – 2” by the route to K.Valdemāra Street, then in K.Valdemāra Street, Slokas Street, Dagmāras Street, Buļļu Street and further by the route.

Bus route No. 57 will be closed on August 10 due to the above contests.

During the above period, those passengers who use monthly tickets on the routes to be changed/closed will be allowed to use their tickets on other bus and trolleybus routes to reach the necessary destinations, without registering their trips.
