On Saturday, 25 April, during the motorcycle season opening ride from around 14.00 to approximately 15.00, there will be changes to certain public transport routes. The motorcycle ride will start at the shopping centre Akropole Rīga (Latgales iela 257), then along Latgales iela, Dienvidu tilts, Ziepniekkalna iela, Mūkusalas iela, Kuģu iela, Trijādības iela, Raņķa dambis, and Daugavgrīvas iela to Spilve Airport.

During the event, the bus routes 10, 23, and 26, as well as the trolleybus routes 4, 19, and 27, will be temporarily rerouted via detours. Some bus stops will be closed, and passenger servicing will be provided at the nearest available stops.

Bus route 10 to Abrenes iela will run along the route to Kārļa Ulmaņa gatve, then along Kārļa Ulmaņa gatve to the turnaround point under the bridge before the Mūkusalas roundabout, where it will turn in the opposite direction, then continue along Kārļa Ulmaņa gatve, Bauskas iela, Jelgavas iela, Akmeņu iela, Valguma iela, Uzvaras bulvāris, Akmens tilts, and continue along the route. Closed stops: "Bieķensalas iela", "Laivu iela", "Mūkusala", and "Nacionālā bibliotēka" on Kuģu iela; in the direction to the centre, the bus stops at "Koku iela", "Satiksmes iela", "Bieķensalas iela", "LU Akadēmiskais centrs" on Jelgavas iela and "Nacionālā bibliotēka" on Uzvaras bulvāris. The first changed route from Jaunmārupe departs at 14.06.

Towards Jaunmārupe, the route will run to Akmens tilts, then across Akmens tilts, along Uzvaras bulvāris, Valguma iela, Akmeņu iela, Mūkusalas iela, and then continue along the route. The bus stop "Nacionālā bibliotēka" on Kuģu iela will be closed; buses traveling from the centre will stop at the "Nacionālā bibliotēka" tram stop on Uzvaras bulvāris. The first changed route from Abrenes iela will depart at 14.15.

Bus route 23 to Abrenes iela will run along its usual route to Jelgavas iela, then continue along Jelgavas iela, Akmeņu iela, Valguma iela, Uzvaras bulvāris, Akmens tilts, and then continue along its usual route. The bus stop "Nacionālā bibliotēka" on Kuģu iela will be closed. When heading toward the centre, the bus stops at the "Nacionālā bibliotēka" stop on Uzvaras bulvāris. The first route along the changed route from Baloži departs at 13.49. 

Towards Baloži, the route will run to Akmens tilts, then across Akmens tilts, along Uzvaras bulvāris, Valguma iela, Akmeņu iela, Jelgavas iela, and then continue along the route. The bus stop "Nacionālā bibliotēka" on Kuģu iela will be closed. From the centre, the bus stops at the "Nacionālā bibliotēka" tram stop on Uzvaras bulvāris. The first bus on the changed route from Abrenes iela will depart at 14.04.

Bus route 26 to Katlakalns will run along the route to Akmens tilts, then continue across Akmens tilts, along Uzvaras bulvāris, Valguma iela, Akmeņu iela, and Mūkusalas iela, and then continue along the route.  The bus stop "Nacionālā bibliotēka" on Kuģu iela will be closed. From the centre, the bus stops at the "Nacionālā bibliotēka" tram stop on Uzvaras bulvāris. The first bus on the changed route from Abrenes iela will depart at 14.20.

Trolleybus route 4 will run from Jugla to Ziepniekkalns and from Ziepniekkalns to Jugla straight across the Salu tilts, without entering the Mūkusalas roundabout. The first trolleybus on the changed route from Jugla will depart at 13.23, and from Ziepniekkalns at 13.48. 

Trolleybus route 19 will run from Pētersalas iela to Ziepniekkalns and back via the Salu tilts, without entering the Mūkusalas roundabout. The first trip on the changed route from Pētersalas iela will depart at 13.45, and from Ziepniekkalns at 13.59.

The "Mūkusalas rotācijas aplis" stop is closed in both directions for both trolleybus routes 4 and 19, but the "Lucavsala" stop is serviced in both directions.

Trolleybus route 27 to Stacijas laukums will follow the route to Jelgavas iela, then continue along Jelgavas iela, Akmeņu iela, Valguma iela, Uzvaras bulvāris, and Akmens tilts, and then continue along the route to Stacijas laukums.  The first trolleybus on the changed route from Ziepniekkalns will depart at 13.40.

Towards Ziepniekkalns, the route will run to Akmens tilts, then across Akmens tilts, along Uzvaras bulvāris, Valguma iela, Akmeņu iela, Mūkusalas iela, and then continue along the route. The first trolleybus on the changed route from Stacijas laukums will depart at 14.10.

During the trip, the stops "Laivu iela" and "Mūkusala" towards the centre, and "Nacionālā bibliotēka" in both directions, will be closed. From the centre, the trolleybus will stop at the "Nacionālā bibliotēka" tram stop.

During the motorcycle ride, there may also be temporary traffic disruptions on other tram, trolleybus, and bus routes in the vicinity of Latgales iela, Dienvidu tilts, and Daugavgrīvas iela, as the State Police will temporarily close certain sections to traffic.
