1998 – T3 trams renovation programme is launched
- Riga bus depots receive new Mercedes Benz buses
- The new tram route No. 4 to Imanta is opened
- On the occasion of the 100th Anniversary of Riga tram TTP workshops built Retro tram
2002. The last T3A tram car renovated in the Central workshops of TTP is solemnly put into service.
2001. TTP traffic service starts placing traffic timetables at tram stops.
2000. The first Czech-made Škoda 15TRM trolleybuses start running in Riga.

1993. Riga city’s municipal enterprise Tālava and limited liability company of Riga Administrative Board Rīgas autostāvvietas are established.
1992. Riga city’s municipal enterprise Bus depot Imanta is established.
1989. TTP receives from Czechoslovakia the first trolleybuses of the new Škoda 15TR model.
1989. TTP tests RVR-made experimental tram car TR1.
1989. TTP receives from Czechoslovakia 42 tram cars of the new Tatra T3M model.
1986. Trolleybus route No. 24 Inženieru iela-JSC Dzintars is opened.
1985. Trolleybus route No. 22 Centrālā stacija-Pļavnieki and trolleybus route No. 23 Centrālā stacija-Purvciems are opened.
1984. Tram route No. 4 Imanta-Čiekurkalns is opened.
1983. TTP receives the first five Czechoslovak-made trolleybuses of new model Škoda 14TR.
1982. On the occasion of the 100th Anniversary of Riga tram TTP workshops reconstruct (build) an electric tram car - Retro tram.
